Hey there everyone, its James here.
Well today marks the end of our first week of operations and its been quite busy here at HQ. Already we’ve collected a great number of stories from local atrists and giraffes to Adamsdown Primary Year 5 news reports on the environment. There’s still lots more to go though including a radio drama produced by Atrium students, including members of the Adamsdownhere team, and more audio work from the schools.
Looking back, our launch seems to have been ages ago, it’s hard to believe that it was only a few days back, everyone has been so busy.
We’re still, as always, looking for more news and stories to increase our workload so the site is bursting with content so if you have any news or events that we can cover and add to our calendar please do get in touch.
While I’m here I’d like to say a massive thank you and shout out to Year 5 from Adamsdown Primary who I worked with on Tuesday. They came from school to the Atrium to use the radio studios here so they could record the news reports that they have been writing in class. A new experience for them and what I think is a first for the Atrium with bringing in primary children to work with us on such a project. Everyone did amazlingly well, especially as it was their first time in a radio studio and after a short practise they were sat in front of a microphone doing a level check and then recording their work.
I’m off now. Keep smiling
